Interview with Joshua Snow on F-Stop Collaborate and Listen
Episode four of F-Stop Collaborate and Listen - my podcast project where I interview other landscape photographers. In my fourth episode, I interviewed Joshua Snow. Joshua is an astrophotographer / landscape photographer based out of Moab, Utah. Joshua and I talked about drones, critiquing others' photos, finding vision, night photography techniques, and some of Joshua's upcoming workshops.

Anon, I’m finding that a lot of people have misunderstood me, and that people are basing their opinions of me on the singular interactions with particular people and not thinking or observing for themselves. It’s a shame more people don’t have the care or will to try and get to know some one for themselves. Also, I’m very much not racist, but it’s evident that the one joke I’ve made has caused a tizzy amongst the adamus disciples. I also find it funny or interesting that you think I’m following in the wake of others when the only people that are well known today are those that have learned from Mark Adamus, I however have not therefor my work is unique, and my style is my own, not regurgitated. My work doesn’t look like a carbon copy of all the others out there. I also made huge sacrifices to pursue my dreams, and have been extremely fortunate and succcessful at it so your notions of me may be inaccurate. What gives you the right to criticize me, and what I’ve done in my life? Do you know me personally? Because those that do can attest that nearly everything you’ve said about me is misinformed. You can think what you’d like of myself and my work but I urge you to stop and actually think about what you’ve said.
Thanks Anon. Lol.
First of all, your comment goes against the whole concept behind my podcast- we celebrate artists instead of appealing to those base human desires to criticize others.
Second of all- grow a pair and put your real name down if you’re going to leave a comment like this.
Josh Snow is doing nothing interesting or unique with landscape photography. Just following in the wake of others and crying and whining on social media about how much he thinks he deserves. It’s pretty pathetic of him to spend time in this interview to deliberately criticize someone else’s work when his work is not impressive on the slightest. He’s hateful, racist, insecure and doesn’t deserve a spotlight.
An upcoming star in the western Photo world... good luck...
