About the Artist

My name is Matt Payne and I am a mountaineer and fine art nature and landscape photographer living in Durango, Colorado. My favorite subjects are hard-to-reach locations, including the highest mountains in Colorado. In 2018 I completed my life-time goal of climbing the highest 100 mountains in Colorado. As a lover of nature, I have chosen to specialize in large format photographic prints to bring to life my favorite places and subjects showcased in beautiful light.

All of my landscape and nature photos are available in the form of high quality fine art prints hand-crafted for perfection.

As a deeply curious person with a profound connection to nature, I am interested in science and natural history. My goal is that my fine art prints showcase the natural beauty of Earth, revealing wonderful intricacies and showcasing how precious and magnificent nature really is. I love the craft of landscape photography and produce a weekly podcast dedicated to landscape and nature photography called "F-Stop Collaborate and Listen."

Fine Art Nature and Landscape Photography Prints

Since my goal is to present my fine art nature and landscape photographs in the best formats possible while providing options to people from all economic backgrounds, I have tested a multitude of labs, papers, and mediums before deciding to utilize the three print mediums I do. My prints are all created using gallery quality presentation mediums, and there are options for every budget. The ultimate print option I offer utilizes Fuji Flex Crystal Archive paper which is then face-mounted using UV-protective, scratch and glare resistant TruLife Acrylic and arrives ready to hang. My medium print option utilizes high-end Chromaluxe metal dye sublimation for a clean, professional look which also arrives ready to hang. Lastly, I offer a budget-friendly ready-to-frame print option which uses Hotpress fine art watercolor paper. Whether you are looking for Colorado Landscape Photographs; fall and autumn Colorado pictures; fine art prints to match specific colors, or unique imagery from around the world, I am certain you will be impressed with the final result.
